# Cart reserved timer

**Cart Reserved timer** is an effective way of creating a sense of urgency and prompting sales instantly. It will motivate buyers to complete the checkout process faster. Also, it will help in reducing abandoned carts and creates more impact at the time of sales.

**Now let's understand how you can set a cart reserved timer**

**Step1** Select “Cart Reserved Timer” in the Reduce Abandoned section or search the app in the **search box**.

**Step2** Enable the app by clicking on the  button against \*\* disabled\*\* (button will turn from red to green)
